Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Gen 2 along with the “enhanced color” bulbs. For the plain white bulbs there isn’t much difference but they did introduce a variant of the white bulbs with adjustable color temperature.

I believe the difference was light output and more color options. Phillips provides updates to the lamps that bring them up to current standards. Mine have updated 3 times since purchase.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.These bulbs (the candle light) just came out in June of 2017. I could not find a newer model so I’m going to say this would be a Gen 1 if Phillips plans on listing newer candle light models as different gens.
