• Bluetooth works up to a certain range. they say 40 meters but it also depends upon if the transformer/plug (which is where the emiter is)is behind or obstructed by anything. I am using a hue bridge to link them to wifi but with that you need a free ethernet port on your internet router. Hope this information is useful.
