• These are bluetooth so you will not need the bridge / hub. You can use google home and Alexa and the app

• You can just download Philips hue app if you don't want to buy the bridge. I have the bridge and I'd recommend buying it, it's definitely worth it especially if you plan on adding other smart bulbs to your home.
