Try enabling Alexa’s smart home skill and you should be able to connect from there.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You'll need to download the Alexa app for your iPad, and then add lighting underenu, then skills, search Philips hue skill..add and then chose discover. It will search and connect, then you can use Alexa to control the lights.

Once complete any changes to your system will be automatically discovered, or can be manually added using the 'Alexa, Discover Devices' command.
