I used these on a dimmer switch for about a year, and they were fine. After that, they stopped working correctly. One of the 3 would not always light up, or they would just randomly change from colors to white. At that point we changed the dimmer switch out to a regular switch, and they have been fine ever since.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The bulbs can be placed in any fixture. I think if the dimmer is turned low, you cannot fully brighten up the bulb since it is being limited by the hooked up dimmer switch.
