These bulbs are 10 watts, compared to incandescent at 40 - 60 watts, or the swirly CFL's at 13, plus the brigde which i think is 3 watts which controls up to 50 bulbs. In short, if your coming from old incandescent, yes, you will see good savings on bills, coming from CFL's, it's marginal at best.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. These light bulbs are LED. 60 Watt incandescent is a equivalent. They use about 10 Watts at max power. However, due to their smart nature, they will need to be left on at the switch to receive signal from the bridge to be turn on by software. This uses a tiny bit of power, 0.25 watts or less per bulb I believe. So, overall if you're swapping out incandescent lights for these, yes it will save money in the long run.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. They use 10 watts and are a little brighter than a 60w bulb. I've had mine for only a couple of weeks, but expect to see a moderate savings. Keep in mind that most of your power bill comes from large appliances such as a refrigerator.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. From the naked eye, I don't see any difference. They may be slightly dimmer, but not enough to notice. And the fact that you can automate when they turn on and turn off is a huge plus in the power savings department.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I would say it’s an equivalent light source but much softer
