Using the Hue hub and the app on your tablet or smartphone you can and will be able to control each bulb individually. You can even do so with the Amazon Echo once you get it set up too.

Using the app you can control each light bulb individually and change the color and brightness. Each bulb can be set on timer as well individually or as a group.
