A:Answer It really depends on the purpose for the lights. I went for the color kit because I wanted to add some accent lighting to my living room, so I wanted the color for that purpose. Since getting the color kit, I have also added a few white only bulbs to the system, and where I put those (Kitchen, hallway), I didn't need to have color. If you are just looking for standard lights for a lamp or a bedroom, and have no need for color, there is no reason to spend the extra money on the color lights. If you want to add some great accent lighting and color washes on your walls to liven up a room, I would not hesitate to grab the color kit. You will be happy with either.
