A: I have had this light outside in my front porch for about two months, and still works great.
Q: Can this light be used as an outdoor flood light?
A: No, this is an indoor only bulb.
Q: These look like flood bulbs, are they? Can they work as a regular bulb in a lamp, etc?
A: Yes they are flood lamps. We are using them in our kitchen. We have vaulted ceilings. Im sure they would work as regular bulbs, but would be bulkier in you lamp.
Q: What is the temperature of the bulb?
A: Color temp runs real warm (around 2700k) to real cool (6500k). You can use presets or tweak it yourself.
Q: Can these bulbs be used on the outside
A: No, this is not recommended for outside use.
A: Your only issue will be if you're turning all the lights on and off with a switch, as your normally would, can reset the smart bulbs. So you'd flip the lights on and they might start out as reset to full brightness when youd want them to be set to a specific brightness/ warmth The smart bulbs are intended to be on an always on circuit and then they switch themselves on through a voice assistant, a schedule, or the app.
