• I would not. They make a light strip specifically for outdoor use. It is, of course, a lot more expensive!

• These are indoor - Phillips also make an outdoor version.

• Not this particular set. Philips sells and outdoor light strip set and you should get those. Spend the extra money and don't worry about it. Also, the outdoor set is longer in length I believe.
