The strips create millions of colors for ambient light. That requires the effects to come from using different shades across a few leds on the strip. You can try a different shade or add a light diffuser to make the different leds blend better.

Most all the colors have a 2nd color in it, but I've never SEEN it until I walk right up to it & stare into the strip. It too depends on if it's dimmed, or you have it fully bright. I have 12 strips, & actually pink is the color my house turns when my wife calls or texts me. I, nor anyone else have ever noticed the 2nd color...

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Adjusting the saturation level to the maximum seemed to turn the white off on mine. I use an app called Hue lights to adjust saturation. I attached that screen shot I hope this helps.
