“Is the Hue Motion Sensor water resistant for a covered outdoor deck - out of direct spray?”

• I wanted to use it outside as well. The instructions state "indoor use only". Thought I would set it in a window facing outdoors, but it can not work through glass.

• Not sure how water resistant it is, however, the sensor mounts magnetically to the base you screw into wall. To be safe you could vacuum seal the sensor, or place in a zip lock bag for extra protection. The magnetic should hold the sensor through the plastic bag.

• Pretty sure that it's an indoor device only. But it's only 40 bucks I would try it anyway
