I have hue bulb, switch & hue motion sensor connected, When I turn the light on, it will stay on only for few minutes then it goes off by it self, do anyone knows why the light of by itself?

You can adjust the timing in the Hue App.

You have to use the hue app to set up the length of time you want the lights on or off.

This might be a setting you have for the motion sensor in the Hue app. If the motion sensor picks up motion it sends a command to turn light on, even if you already turned the light on. Then if you leave or sit down and the motion sensor stops picking up motion it sends a command to turn off the lights because it thinks no one is there. In the Hue app > Settings > Accessory Setup > Select Motion Sensor. Inside here you can change either the time it takes to send the off command, or even change it to not send the command at all “Do nothing”.

Using the Hue app go to settings > accessory setup > sensor (or whatever you named your motion sensor) > scroll down to “when there is no motion” > choose your preferred settings. 

I’ve set mine to turn off after 3 minutes. Choose what you’d like. (See image below)

I know with the sensor there are timing settings in the hue app that control how long the light will stay on. Dont recall if there was one for.leave on.

By default, I believe the lights will turn off after 7 minutes. You can adjust your timing, brightness, etc. under the settings within the app.

In the hue app, under the motion sensor settings there is an option under "When there is no motion" Set that to "do nothing" and hopefully that should help. Attached are my settings for night activation.

If no motion is detected the light will turn off. I set mine to turn off after no motion is detected after 1 minute

you need to set the time, you can have a timer or just have the light stay on. The timer is usually set for 5 minutes
