If you turn the lights off manually via the app (or something like Alexa), yes they'll turn back on as soon as motion is detected.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The light fixture power needs to stay on; the power switch needs to stay on for that lamp. You can turn off the light thru your philips hue app or smart home enabled device (echo, google home etc) by voice command. The motion sensor can be on a timer to turn back off after so many minutes and set to dim the light at set times of the day.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No. You have to leave your light switch in the “on” position at all times unless you’re using a Phillips Hue switch.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No it will not be able to turn on because it is manually off. The light has to be permanently on at the switch then the motion sensor can have full control.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.yes
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The lights have to be on an 'on' state, but you can use a Hue dimmer switch to turn off or use the Hue app to turn it off. Using the original light switch will make the motion sensor useless.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I'm sorry - i answered too quickly - if the switch is off they will not turn on - with motion or otherwise. If they have just been turned off with the Hue app or iPhone Home then yes they will turn on with motion.
