“So the colors look interesting but can I dial it back and just use white when I don't want the colors. I have been using a 6500k bias lighting for awhile and this looks interesting but much of the time all the colors would be too much”

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You could use it just like regular bulbs on the hue app and keep it whatever shade of white you want to display but it would change manually only. Also, it would be cheaper to just use the Phillips strip lighting. Otherwise these bars only sync with what's on the screen using the sync box. So it will stay white if you're only watching black and white movies, otherwise you will always the colors the image displays. I actually find the colors are much less brighter than the white. You can control the brightness to your liking.
