“i have a hue bridge but would i need a hue sync box if i wanted the lights to sync to a video game or movie on my computer? or is there another way to do it that doesn’t require a sync box? not really looking to spend $230 for that”

• You need the sync box. I know it's pricey but once it all setup and working it's pretty awesome.

• There are some Hue APPs available that mimic the effect.
