Sorry but this does not work with the smart TV, if you have a google home or Alexa device you can use it though

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You can’t really connect these directly to the TV. You need to connect them to the Hue system using a bridge (you can find it here at Best Buy as well) and an app (free for pretty much all smart phones). If you want to sync the lights to what is showing on the TV then you’ll need the Sync box which just came out a few weeks ago. The box will sync the colors and levels of brightness to whatever is happening on the screen.

They provide color and that’s it, you control it via the hue app. If you want lights that change based off what is on the screen, they just release hue play I believe, it connect to your tv via an HDMI box and then that box provides HDMI outs to connect your devices, and it should change the lights automatically based off the signal from the source.
