The white lights will just dim and brighten bit the adjustable ones you can choose different shades of white

The white only lights have only one 'white' and it's a little on the cool side. The adjustable white lights give you a wide gamut within the white spectrum from cool to warm, (but no real colors.) If you don't like the white of the simple white bulbs, you may want to give the adjustables a try.

"white" lights are just the standard yellow colored lights and the adjustable white lights go from 2700k to 6000k I believe.

The white lights only stay at a constant brightness. The adjustable white lights has the ability to fade and adjust the brightness as needed.
