• I bought the ambient white lights which are adjustable in white color temperature or kelvin. This means that you can adjust from a warm (yellowish) color to blueish white 2200K to 6500K. If you were to purchase the soft white lights they are a set 2700K which are not adjustable. A set color temperature. Hope this helps.

• You can adjust the temperature from a nice, warm amber to a nasty blue caste. Much better than regular LED bulbs. Or are you asking about the regular dimmable Hue bulbs? Those are like any other dimmable LED bulbs - i.e. you want them in a nice shade, or bouncing off a wall.

• Have had few different brands and these do seem to be made of better quality then most other brands. Would say you definitely get what you pay for with these

• The white ambiance lights have a full range of white colors. From typical bright white led color to older yellow incandescent hues. These are my go to lights for rooms I do not want full color in.
