• It does come with an ac cord to charge but you can't use it while plugged in. It charges fast though. You can get a 15 shaving time on a 5 minute charge. Will fully charge in about 30 minutes.

• The 4100 shaver does have an electric cord with a quick charge feature that will give you 6 minutes of shave in 5 - 10 minutes, but you cannot shave with a completely run down charge.
