- Answer Hello! It is completely safe to use your Philips Sonicare Toothbrush in the shower. Make sure to never store your Philips Sonicare Toothbrush in the shower between brushings. Allow the toothbrush to air-dry between uses. Also, do not place the charger where it might risk contact with water.

However, here's how it works: Solid white light, battery is fully charged. It blinks white, partially full. Blinks amber, and the battery is low prompting you to charge it soon.

QuestionGreetings, I would like to know if the SenseiQ technology is only activated with Prestige compatible toothbrush heads? Or does it work as well with other brush heads (like the Sensitive Standard sonic toothbrush head for example?). Thx for any info.

I have the navy blue toothbrush and I recently ordered new brush heads from the actual Philips website, and nope, only black or white brush heads is what they offer. So I have a navy blue handle and a black brush head.

- Answer Hello there! Thank you for your question. The Philips Sonicare 9900 Prestige HX9990/12 with SenseIQ works with several Sonicare brush heads, including the TongueCare+ tongue brush. While it recognizes standard brush heads, it doesn't automatically detect the TongueCare+ head or switch to a tongue-cleaning mode. To clean your tongue, simply attach the TongueCare+ head and manually select the TongueCare mode on the handle.

- Answer I believe it starts out at 180 sessions and it counts down based on how hard and how many times you brush a day. In the app it keeps count down you can also hook it up to Amazon or Alexa and have it order new heads when time is up with current brush head!

QuestionThe specs say it isn’t app compatible but all of the comments and other info as well as the video on here seems to indicate that it is. Is it or is it using something that isn’t considered an app (but sure looks like one)?
