Yes there is a cover for the head when you're not using your toothbrush and a new one comes with each replacement head. You don't need to keep the toothbrush on the charger constantly. The light on it changes color to alert you when the battery is low and needs to be charged.

Yes there is a cover for when you are not using it, and no you don’t need to charge it at all times, just once for 24 hours after your first use then once ever two weeks for about seven hours.

There is a cover which I like better than the original covers used in the past. Once fully charged, a charge will last a long time without being on the charger all the time

Yes, there is a brush head cover. No, you should only need to charge it about once every week or two. You can keep it on the charging base but that would just be taking up an outlet and more counter space for me.
