“I ran it on a 8” 1200 max watts 4 ohms wired it so it played as a 2ohm and now the speaker doesn’t play as well i can hear it idling with my car its the speaker bad?”

• You can hear it idle with the car? I can only assume you hear a buzz that would be a bad ground. Never match speaker to amp by max output always go by RMS.

• No the amplifier can only do 800 watts at one ohm.
