Would this amp power a single 12in alpine type R null

YES, This amp will push the type R. The amp is 1ohm stable, Depending on the ohm rating on the sub woofer. Best bang for the buck

This amp is very powerful , but it is not a bridged amp. It has a left channel and a right channel and would run 2, 12inch Alpine subwoofers without any problem.... As a matter of fact it might even smoke both subs if the gain on amp was turned all the way up. Long story short, Yes this amp would push your 12 inch Alpine sub without a problem, just keep in mind that it would not be bridged therefore your sub would only be putting out left or right channel sound. I suggest looking for a bridgeable to mono amp unless you have room for one more 12 inch Alpine sub that is. Hope this helped you.
