• Yes. They have a decent bump. I have them in the doors of my convertible and there are no rear speakers yet I get good bass from them. Good choice for the price.

• DEPENDING on what type of bass you're looking for, acoustic bass, light thump bass and moderate lows is good. But for house and hip hop low booms nope. A component set may be what you're looking for if you're looking for a decent bass all around without a sub.
