“What will be needed for installation on 2016 Malibu LS....like kits, adapters, cables, and etc? First time switching to one of these systems and don’t want to be blind sided during free install”

Yes you will need parts definitely cost like $140 to $200. You can buy online and take it to the shop with stereo or you pay bestbuy they handle it for you buy it may be more expensive
