This radio has remote input jack on the back and you can purchase a harness/module for your steering wheel controls (SWC). You would just need to check what module works for your vehicle. I have done 2 installs of this 5201 NEX in 2 different vehicles and have done SWC in both. While each vehicle had a different module/harness for the SWC it hooks into the radio with the remote pin input same way. Hopefully this helps.
