“Will this work in my 2016 Ford Escape? I want to be able to still use the controls on my steering wheel, the USB in my Center console and my backup camera that's already with the car. Would I be better off buying just a GPS?”

Yes it will work probably have to get a kit for it and as for steering wheel control its an accesory you will need. it has a plug where u can hook ul your rearview camera, also you have to run your usb cable too.
