If you have an android, there is Android Auto and does pretty much the same thing but for androids.

• A:Answer I assume you meant detachable as in the head unit faceplate detaches from the main unit? It is not. It is a double din install under the dash trim

Q: QuestionHas anyone found an Apple Carplay dongle that successfully works with this unit to enable wireless carplay? I've tried CPlay2Air & CarlinKit 2.0 & they both end up freezing the screen, then disconnecting, then reconnecting on an irritating cycle.
