• Face opens up (it lifts) and that is where you can insert the dvd/cd. The face it is still attached it only opens.

• Their site SAYS detachable, but it is NOT. I guess that's what I get for trusting THEIR site....

• Not sure that it’s detachable as you can take the whole thing off it does swing down for disc Option but not all the way off no case to put it in either
