Explorer 505 same as Explorer 500? I'm trying to find out what the difference is, if any. Is the 505 the same as the 500 and just a model sold only at Best Buy?

As far as I can tell, there isn't a one. Different model number for a different vendor. It let's them get out of having to match prices.

Hello- You are correct, the Explorer 500 and 505 will be the same headset as far as the features and functionality go. The 505 is exclusive to Best Buy and there will be some slight cosmetic and packaging differences.

Yes, they are identical. The 505 is just Best Buy's designation.

Yes there is a difference. The 500 has noise reduction and the 505 has noise cancellation.
