The Explorer 505 is compatible with any device that supports Bluetooth headsets; However, please note Bluetooth technology works through different profiles and these are the ones the earpiece requires to work correctly: Hands-Free Profile (HFP) 1.6 and Headset Profile (HSP) 1.and A2DP. This model is mainly intended for cell phones and tablets. For a Mac we recommend you to check out our UC line of products as these are designed for optimal PC/Mac connectivity. • I have not tried to pair it to another device. However, I would think that as long as the Laptop/PC or device has an up dated OS it should pair. I must warn others that the battery life runs out very quickly!!! Personally, I would not purchase this item again!
