“I can not get either of my Xbox's to detect the mic no matter what I do. I took the headset back to the store and exchanged it for a different one and it still wont connect. I need someone to confirm that the 800HD is 100% compatible with Xbox One.”

It is not. Only the RIG 800LX is compatible with the XBox due to circuitry in the USB adapter which makes it compatible with XBox. The RIG 800HD is for PC gaming.
