It's not really "overclocked" per se. That implies it's running faster than it's speced for, which isn't the case. It's got 2x as large GPU, and the GPU and CPU, and RAM are all clocked faster, but it's also made on a newer manufacturing process that uses less power to do the same thing. Of course you never know how well a new system will hold up, but from what I've heard it's probably dealing with heat better than the first gen models. Regardless, the cooling system is designed for it. I'd be surprised if the drive is 7200RPM, though you can always replace the drive if you want to.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. That's wrong...they didn't lock anything. It's pure logic that a gpu that is newer, better, double the old, overclocked memory will have better graphics than the PS4 release version. If you own a true native 4K SUHD Ultra HDTV HDR OLED, LED and the Dolby Chip as well 2016 set up, like I do, it will look way better. The Xbox one S 2TB on my 4K set up looks better than my previous one on my 1080 p native set.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. My understanding is the Ps4 Slim and Pro have a new smaller die chip. The Ps4 slim is under clocked version and Pro runs to full potential.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The PS4P is a bit bigger in size and weight, I'm getting one at launch, and will confirm how hot/quiet it gets.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It's more than overclocked. A full 2x ability to be faster but Sony locked the frame rates and all Ps4s will have the same graphics. Not sure what or why Sony did this. The Ps4 Pro should fan noise = to the Ps4 that released right before the slim. Like the 2 revision ps4 that is all matte black. Sony cheaped out 5400rpm.
