Sadly, nope. It baffles me that Sony, who actually owns 4K Blue-ray would not support it on their own console.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.nothing is currently working with 4k gaming, however i have not currently tried the video but sony will not acknowledge that there is a known issue with ps4 randomly starting to power off without being able to power back on for more than 45 seconds. http://community.us.playstation.com/t5/Consoles-Peripherals/PS4-Pro-randomly-shutting-off/m-p/46110786/highlight/false#M281387 there's the link to confirm the issue that sony is avoiding.

The picture will still look solid. The PS4 Pro does not come with an Ultra HD player. So it upscales instead. This is something similar to what Blu-ray players did with DVDs a few years back. http://www.theverge.com/circuitbreaker/2016/9/7/12839756/sony-ps4-no-4k-uhd-blu-ray Also you may not need 4K according to this graph pixel density isn't seen depending on resolution and distance away from screen. http://i.rtings.com/images/resolutions-worth-it-comparison.png Hope this helps.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.4k tvs already upscale anything under 4k to fit the screen.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No it will not convert 1080 native to true native 4k. Technically a 1080 resolution compared to 4k is a big area increase. So as we stretch a 1080 canvas to fit a large 4 times 4k area. You are going to see a loss in picture quality compared to a 1080 native screen. Only when you have a true recorded 4k video and play it at True 4k will you see the increase in quality. If also you are sitting close enough to see it. Like if you sit 14feet from a 60" TV? You could not tell the difference in 4k to 1080p. Because at the 14ft distance your eyes can not see the pixels.
