I have never gotten a warranty with a console I have children and I just keep it high enough out of their reach. I dust it every now and then. Keep your box and manuals so if something new comes out you can sell it for cash to buy next one. Just be safe with it it's very durable and matte finish.

If you Hav the money get the geek squad warranty. Immediate replacement... Or buy warranty extension from Sony store only a few more dollars off but deal with shipping and refurbs. Things happen... Protect ur investment if u can ... If u got money to throw away then take your chances..

This depends on how much of a hardcore gamer you are.. I have the Ps4 and PS4 pro but don't play for than an average of 10 hours a week max and to me the console will more than hold up well beyond the warranty period...

Always get a warranty. I have always used it on my old ps4. I also got it for my pro, because it covers alot of atuff.
