It will work much better than the regular PS4, the PS VR is one of the main reasons they released the PS4 PRO and the ability to do 4k. But remember the PS VR head set does not have a 4K screen in It this is 1 of the reasons it is a better price than other VR systems.

Yes the ps4 pro will give VR a huge boost in performance and graphical fidelity.

The interaction of the Pro and the PSVR is a really good question. VR needs all the power it can get, and the Pro could be a GIGANTIC help for the VR unit, though it would be up to developers for how well a VR game takes advantage of the extra power.
