I had a 1 year warranty from Sony originally for free. I am pretty sure that is still in effect but I also believe Best Buy has other warranties available that you can check out on their website as youre checking out, before you put in your CC info and pay!

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. When the PS4 launched, it came with a 1 year warranty, but there was an option to buy a 3 year extended warranty for only $60 at the PSN store. as for the PS4 Pro, i'm sure they'll give the same option for $60 like they did on PS4, you may just have to wait and see when the PS4 Pro comes out in 7 days.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Most warranty from Best Buy depend on the price of the item I can't remember all the price levels right now I'm in the car but you can just look on the site for a item that's $399 and should show you how much for warranty of each year amount and I know you can get all different length of times even 5 years and always renew it when it's over. Look into the geek squad for the info you want cause that's who basicly takes care of the warrenty.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The warranty is for 2 yrs and covers accidental damage from water, dust, dirt, surge, drops, and the controller. Cost for this 2 yr plan will be $59.99 US dollars. Within 30 days of expiration, if there is an option to extend the plan, cost will be show in an email notification. In the past, one would pay $39.99-$49.99 to add an additional 1 yr to the existing 2 yr plan. From what I have heard recently from someone at Best Buy, Sony opted out of allowing customers to purchase an extension on expiring or soon to be expired plan.
