You don't need any accessories to connect to a laptop. To put this into a desktop computer, you may need an adapter kit so that it fits into the slot of your old 3.5" hard drive.

Your should not have to purchase anything. Just pull out the old drive and use the existing connection for the SSD.

you need and extra sata power cable from the power supply, [most come with extra connectors], and a sata data cable . 3-4 dollars if you dont have an extra one laying around.

Really you don't need anything, some desktops might need a 3.5" to 2.5" hdd adapter if you want to mount your SSD solid in the case or maybe a extra SATA cable if your trying to ADD a new drive .
