- A:Answer You don't need any accessories to connect to a laptop. To put this into a desktop computer, you may need an adapter kit so that it fits into the slot of your old 3.5" hard drive.

- A:Answer It should work as long as your current Hard Drive is 2.5" and is after 2011 probably. I fitted my 2010 Toshiba C655 laptop. It was just a matter of plug and play! That was it.
