Yes 100% plug n play just install the new Operating system you should be good to go

Do not know, this has the hard plastic case, some laptops do not have the hard case around them. You have to check to see if the hard drive is enclosed.

Of course I can't guarantee that it will but based on the factory specs of your laptop, I would say that it should work very well. I have put one in a HP 110-3700 notebook with no problem.
