• It has a HDMI and should work in an XPS but it be a little under powered for that machine.

• The regular NVIDIA GT 730 like I have that goes in my VGA slot does have an HDMI output along with VGA, and DVI. it should work on your Dell XPS 720 as long as it has a VGA slot instead of an AGP slot.....it fits in my VGA slot perfect....
