I have no sound bar experience other than the one I recently purchased. It seems to work well, and the bass level is adjustable on the remote. Perhaps you got a bad unit that needs replacing.

Please try again later.After you turn on the sound bar, hold the bar sync button on back of sub-woofer for at least three seconds at the same time hold the bluetooth and volume+ on the soundbar for 5 seconds. The lights will flash while they make connection, then they will stop flashing when they connect. If it fails, the first and second lights will flash for 5 seconds. Retry procedure again if it fails.
