“Why would 1 battery not charge light does not go on for it tried other controller in both slots and it lights up but the 1 battery will not,I just bought this charging station yesterday did I get a bad battery and if so how do I get a replacement”

Make sure your contact points behind the remote and cradle base have no debris or lint this can affect the connectivity of both things needing to have clean charging connectors free of dust or similar blockage clear for a good contact point to charge
