• there is a built-in microphone. there is NO connection to connect external microphone. there is a line in to be connected to other audio sources such as CD players or radios or other cassette players. you can record from radios via the built-in microphone or via the line in connection. you may contact the QFX support for more information and instruction.

• The Mic is built into the BoomBox and there is no port to plug a Mic. Also you can record any live broadcast from the radio either onto a blank cassette or a thump drive or a SD card. Hope this helps you out Thanks
