Only thing I find lacking is an audio input jack. Volume control is a bit touchy when adjusting to a low volume. Sound is very good and easily fills my garage. No trouble playing tapes or attaching mp3 player. Nice to have the option to still play audio tapes.

It took me a couple of years to find this cassette tape recorder; it was worth it's weight in gold with all the hundreds of tapes I play 24/7!!!

QFX is great and love that vintage look. Brings back a lot of good memories. If you are like me and have a lot of old cassettes that are just dying to hear. Than look no further this BoomBox has a great sound and many features that I truly love. The fact that if you do have a favorite cassette like that you can put on a thump drive to keep or even SD card. Record live radio broadcasts or live sports game broadcasting on the radio. I highly recommend to everyone. Thanks

When my radio arrived I plugged it in and checked everything out. All worked fine. But later I installed batteries and realized cassettes would not play on battery power. However all other functions worked. eg. rewind, fast forward. But refused to play on battery power. Is this the way it's supposed to function? I don't know. Probably not. But this is not a deal breaker for me. Although it may be for you if you want to play cassettes on battery power.

Would give it 5 stars if it actually had Bass Boost. The name is only for looks. The volume is not smooth, while adjusting the volume it does not gradually reduce to silence. It does go somewhat low, but then jumps to pure silence. I only recommend this for its looks and cassette playing/converting to mp3 capability. That's it.

The radio functions work great. Cassette works great. Just wish it had aux or Bluetooth.

This is the perfect machine for all old schoolers like me who still have music on cassette. I did watch the video and conversion to mp.3 works as easy as the guy said it would. No computer or other machine needed. The bonus, for me is the shortwave radio. Essential for many reasons. Color me very satisfied!

I got it because it has a tape deck on it and I wanted to get rid of my larger system. I really like it and it’s super cute. Lol

This radio is very good for listening in your kitchen or bedroom. My dad really likes listening to it while he is lounging at home. It is a good piece of equipment. Good sound. Love that it has newer technology(usb port, etc). Love the tape deck as well.

Excellent tape recorder and player. Good sound. Easy to use and fun to listen to old favorite cassettes.

Brought this for my dad for fathers Day. He wanted a boom box with AM/FM and this was it. Cheap 40 bucks and broke the first time he went to tune a station. Was quite embarrassed and of course my dad being old school and grateful he said I’ll just super glue it....so I said ok but if anything else happens let me know and I’ll take it back. Two days later I called him and he told me the antenna broke when putting up for a signal. Furthermore, I picked it up from the house and went to bring it back and also noticed the tuning strip was getting crinkled. Overall junk but loud and cool options to choose your sound. Returned it and got the PLUNGE with ION battery. 27 more bucks but worth it so far. Sorry Dad...

As I spent 22 years in the Navy I have a vast amount of cassetts and now I can hear them again. Also like others the wife and i recorded our voices on the putting them on mp-3 for the grand kids is made easy with the QFX Boombox.

Good for older folks who still have cassettes... almost threw them out till i saw this. Very pleased with purchase.

My QFX Boombox is great. My husband has quite a few cassettes and no way to play them. I looked at a number of stores and you were the only one that had a cassette player. The sound is great, and my husband is very happy

Have used it to listen to harry potter tapes and this sound was good

It does the job and it offers short wave as well as USB input and takes SD cards

Depending on how Bestbuy handles this, I would give it a higher rating. However, within the first week the dial stopped moving and the antenna broke off. this is from less than 5 uses!! Bestbuy, please send me a replacement and I'll send back the broken one. I like the concept of this little stereo, though its not very bass-y, I do like the novelty of it. its a shame it's made rather cheaply, but the price point would be good if it stayed together for more than a week. At this point I would not recommend it to a friend, unless BB does a great job in coming through for a long time dedicated customer.

I love this cassette player / stereo! I’m able to play tapes that I haven’t heard in decades. Sound is clear. It takes me back to my teenage years! Great item!

I can trust using this machine to play all my old tapes from the 90s. Love it.
