Yes, this is how I have mine setup. I have a sound mixer on my PC and unless i want to bridge the sound from the mixer through synapse I have to use the line out feature from my mixer to the base station and then the headset is wireless. NOTE: if you plan to do it this way I cannot confirm if the headset will allow you transmit voice, I imagine you could if you use the audio input from the headset and then output through pc/device line out. Make sure you disable all the audio outputs and inputs you do not want.
