• No, I had an iPhone 7 before switching to this phone and had to switch the Sim card. I kept my number so I didn't loose anything. I just had to add the contacts again which was fine because they were saved on the old phone. But no, you cannot use the same Sim card. You can keep the same number but with a new SIM card. Just take it to your carrier and they set you up.
