I have alot of phone's at least 6. I switch phones constantly. I found that this is my favorite phone out of all of them all. I enjoy how fast it is, I like that it's big, everything you do with it is seamless. The speakers are amazing, I mean really amazing. Buy the phone you will enjoy it. Best of all, It's half price of a normal flagship.

Cadillac, is the best way to describe this phone.. It's like driving a Cadillac to the corner store. The screen is pure luxury, Like having a TV in your pocket.. The sound Jesus... Is like church. Top Notch Phone.. Operates perfectly. I'm seriously thinking about buying another incase this one breaks.. I love it. It's a spoiler for the the rest as far as media consumption as full screen no punch out. I like it much more then the s10+... I want another just incase.. I sure hope they make a 3rd. Edition.. Very happy with it :) "Sweet" Camara is exactly = to/on par, With the Galaxy s 7 IMHO. I dont think it's bad at all. There is also a G cam APK app that make's it better from what i read, But i have not installed it yet as it's fine for me. I use this phone with Straight Talk, BYOP. works Splendidly.. I will submit a photo of untweeked out of the box camara..

Got this phone when it was on sale for $299 around Black Friday and I’ve been in love. This phone is so fast and can handle pretty much any app I install. I use it mostly for gaming, Call of Duty Mobile, Minecraft, PUBG, and emulation. I put a 256gb micro SD card and now I have all my games and audiobook with me wherever I go, I might never go back home

Awesome phone. Tech is off the charts and works flawlessly. However the construction is fair. It is two large one-hand operation which leads to dropping it. Which I have done I've done a lot. Back panel glass is shattered and cuts my hands now.

I am coming from a Samsung Galaxy Note 8, so for anyone with a premium phone, here are the differences I've noticed so far. First off, it really is a great phone for an almost pure Android experience. I love the fact that there is minimal bloat pre-installed, and what is belongs to Razer or are the defaults like YouTube, etc. The screen is fast and text is super clear. The speakers are amazing, I've only needed to turn them up to half to clearly enjoy music. A few of the downfalls - First, it took almost an hour with Verizon to get the phone to work at 100%. Just inserting your sim card will get you phone calls and outgoing text messages, but receiving texts will not work until you register your device. You will have to contact them for this to work right now. You need what's called a CDMA-less profile on your account. Second, the phone now comes with wireless charging, but don't be fooled. If you have a charger already, there is a very good chance it won't work if it's a stand up model, as the coil in the phone are in a weird place (closer to the bottom instead of center). This means that for your charger to work, it will need to lay it down on the pad and you have to move it around to find that sweet spot, that is not very big. Your other options is to by the $99 Chroma charger that Razer sells, except, it's out of stock. I have three wireless chargers, and so far none of them work unless I lay the phone flat on it (which only one lays flat). Third, there are no cases for this phone unless you buy from Razer directly. At this moment, there are three available, the premium $50 Kevlar case and the bright green and black World case for $25. If you order just the case, it will cost you an additional $10 for shipping, since they are not made locally in the US. At the time I ordered the case, only the Kevlar was available, so I spent $60 for a thin piece of plastic, however, it is much better than no case, as the glass back makes the phone slide around easily. I have no doubt that the Kevlar case will provide little to no protection if dropped. Fourth, if you are coming from a premium phone like the Samsung Galaxy series, this phone is huge. It's going to take some getting used to holding this phone. The fingerprint reader is in a great spot, but I do find my self hitting it often when picking up the phone. Both the reader and the volume keys are centered on both sides, so if you have a car stand that closes on the sides, it's going to mess with your volume buttons easily. Fifth, the camera kinda sucks, even with it's improvements. The software isn't much better. You are limited to the old 4:3 photo size, while the majority of Android phones give you size options for 16:9, etc. The reason for the size is the same reason Apple doesn't offer different ones, it's the best quality for the camera sensor. However, most other flagship phones have been able to include software to fix the quality issue when using a wider setting. Your only option at the moment is to find a different camera app from the Play store to use. Sixth, Not all apps are fully compatible yet. I am a big fan of the texting app Textra, as it has many features I use. However, it currently is unable to receive photos, and I have been forced to use the standard texting app for now. This is not the end of the world, however, it's worth noting that not everything may work out of the box. Lastly, the Chroma notification on the back is partial useless. It was added to please the fans that have other Razer devices and love the glow. As it's on the back of the phone, you won't see it most of the time. Only when you have your phone face down. I have yet to figure out how to set up notifications for it, but I haven't had a large amount of time to play with that feature. If you play a lot of games, this is most definitely the phone for you. However, if you use your phone for most other things, you might want to stick with what you already know. I find my self missing my Note 8 and the features like the Always On Display, or a volume icon in the pull down. I'll be giving the phone a few more days before I decide if it's worth keeping or returning. It's a great concept, but it still needs work before it can compete with the high prices phones that are already out.

Functionality is good but it does run hot. On the 29th day the glass over the camera broke. I have never broken a screen or any phone to date. It was in the case yet now the cameras are useless. I can't recommend anything so fragile. (No drop no rough play etc.)

Best Money I Spent On A Smartphone

For $299 plus tax how could you pass this offer up? So far so good. I enjoy everything about this smartphone. For the price tag you cannot help but love the performance. I do not game often although I did try Mario and it ran great. With the 120hz display refresh rate it is extremely smooth. The 8gb of ram helps with lag free running between apps. 64gb of storage is more than enough before transfer backup. The size of the phone is definitely for more than the average. Sound quality hits a home run with USB-C adapter included. Nova Settings on Android allows you to customize anything. Camera takes excellent photos at times even at night. Change keyboard background, font, transparency, and colors. Dark Mode is great as I like my phone to be. World Class design with RGB Logo preference and waterproof. My dislike involves no headphone jack, wide grip, wireless charging position, not easy to carry out in front pockets. Take care of it. Go ahead and buy it if you have not already, you won't be disappointed if you're looking for a new phone as a daily driver, which I use for work and cool phone factor.

I feel bad for the people who have had issues with this phone but as of now its been working great for me other than a Bluetooth issue. I've had it for about a week with no problems that hinder me from using it however I’m not actually gaming with it. Build quality is solid in my opinion, its heavy coming from an s8 which was dainty but I like the bulk, feels better to hold and talk on. The fingerprint scanner has worked flawless also. The biggest thing to me is the sound of the speakers... They nailed it; the stereo effect is awesome when watching videos. And of course, the glowing logo on the back is cool also. The lack 3.5 is no big deal to me personally but I can see why people would avoid this phone for that reason. If Razer had consumer conscious people working for them instead of greedy ones, they would have included a set of their cheap USB-C headphones and probably sold more phones…First thing my 11 year old said was “no headphone jack and it didn’t come with headphones???” The included adapter is a weak gesture and some have complained of issues with it. The camera has been fine for me also but I’m not using with any apps other that texting and I have had no problems with battery life. Razer has seemed to lose interest in their product (look online, reddit) and I’m getting tired of this with companies. They hype the product in the beginning but as soon as there is a problem they abandon, do a switcharoo and forget about the people that invested in it. This seems to be happening more and more in my experience with these companies (Nvidia, Logitech, Arlo, Sonos, etc…) I actually really like this phone as of now but who knows how it will perform in the coming months. Hopefully Razer gets it together and gets the updates out but as of right now they are hyping their new phone case for the new iPhone’s which is pretty lame in my opinion.

I was torn between the Razer2 and the Samsung Galaxy S10. After comparing the 2, the differences are cosmetic. The S10 plus is actually more comparable to the Razor2. I swapped the SIM card and was off to the races. Beautiful picture for video, AMAZINGLY LOUD SPEAKERS, and all my apps work without a hitch. Cameras are decent, very good actually. The Razer2 is a quality device for half the price of a Samsung or an iPhone. The battery spanks the new iPhone in fact, but nearly every phone does that lol. I would buy this phone again in a heartbeat. Only downside is that OtterBox doesn't make a case for it. Also, when running video or gaming, the phone gets warm to the touch, but it doesn't seem to increase the battery drain, and it doesn't get warm when charging. By the way, I forgot to mention how fast the wall charger recharges this thing. From 6 percent to 100% in under an hour, while I'm still running video. Yeah. Good phone.

If you are strictly going to use this phone to game then this is the phone for you. If you turn off the light in the back of the phone off and lower the brightness then you can play on your phone for about four hours. The phone charges fast so you can be back on it playing. The smoothness of the phone from app to app or even browsing the internet is so smooth. The speakers are really loud but don't ever put the volume all the way up because it makes the speakers sound like the will blow up. What I don't like is small particles get stuck inside the speakers and it is very hard to clean out. I have also had problems were the phone puts my text message notifications on silent on its own. When that happens I would restart my phone and that usually fixes that problem. Also, sometimes when I go on YouTube or use Google maps the app would minimize on its own. My wife has also told me that she has a hard time hearing me speak on the phone when I put it on speaker phone. The camera is alright not the greatest but like I said this phone is mainly meant to play games and that's the main reason I purchased this phone.

I consider myself a gamer and use this primarily for pokemon go. Im very impressed. The screen is very clear and colors are vibrant but not to the point of being neon. The display has the option to switch between 60, 90, or 120Hz refresh rate, and 120hz makes a huge difference. The stereo, front facing speakers sound great, not distorted at all. Call clarity is also great. So far, this has easily been my favorite phone. Everything runs fast, load times are hardly noticeable, and switching between/running multiple apps doesn't seem to slow it down at all. Very easy to use and customize. My ONLY words of caution, if you're clumsy/a little rough on technology like I tend to be, get a case, get a screen protector, and in my case the warranty as well. Im not saying the phone is fragile, Im saying that I work in a warehouse and this phone has front and back glass that I can promise you had I not bought the aforementioned case and screen protector, I would have already scratched it up. Too nice of a phone to not want to take care of it!

I highly recommend this phone to anybody looking for the following pros. Pros: The screen and speakers are amazing! The term phablet is very fitting for the tech. A USB-C to HDMI adapter allows for plug and play screen mirroring! This was a major reason for this purchase. I tested the gaming nature of the phone with Riptide GP: Renegade and was impressed. Cons: The phone gets warm, but not hot. However, when I left my headphone adapter plugged in overnight, it also got warm and may have damaged it, as the adapter no longer works properly.

I bought the Razor for my wife as a gaming phone. It has an octicore processer and a huge beautiful screen, but the best feature is the true 2 speaker sound. This phones audio will blow you and your friends away. Loud clear bass on a phone. Actually its the loudest phone on the market I believe. Plus it looks amazing! Bright Razor logo glows bright and changes colors. This phone is an eye catcher. You wont be disappointed in its functionality either. Only draw back is I only found 1 case that fit. I had to order it from Razor. It is alien green and looks really cool. I am going to buy one for myself now.

I just bought the phone a few hours ago, and it is beastly! The screen is gorgeous (2k at 120Hz woah!) It is extremely fast and straight forward. There is a Razer skin placed over the operating system but nothing too overwhelming. The bezels are big, but the speaker performance you get out of it is well worth it. Dolby Atmos is mind boggling on a phone and especially in a car with Bose speakers, it's unbeatable. The only issue that I did run into is receiving text messages on Verizon. You can pop your sim card right in and start surfing the web, making/receiving phone calls, and sending text messages. You can't receive text messages until you call/visit Verizon to change your line to a CDMA less line (it doesn't cost anything). It is only a button they have to press on their end and it takes seconds. Would highly highly recommend! If anything changes I will update.

Nice phone, if you get it at a discount. Do not pay full price for it. The gaming specs are great, the speakers are nice, and the 120hz display is decent. The touch screen is not the best. The camera barely breaches being ok. Some motion blur that i have been unable to fix, which really messes with video. Overall, decent phone if you can get it on sale.

I went from a iPhone SE to the Razer Phone 2 and love it. It's fast, with a somewhat overclocked version of the same processor that's in the Pixel 3. At $400 this is a steal. You get - 120hz screen. It's smooth, and games look wonderful. On high end settings if you game it can drain the battery, the phone gets warm sometimes but never hot. If you have it in a case it's not really an issue. I went with a supersheldz screen protector and tudia case for just over $20 on amazon. Works great. Some features: *Chroma/light up Razer symbol on the back lights up, and can be used as notification light. *Bright, but not as bright as other phones in direct sunlight. I can see it but the big-boys like Samsung & Apple shine a little more. *Uses a high end LCD to achieve the 120hz refresh rate (make sure to change in the android display settings, default was 90hz). Not quite a vibrant, but still looks great. *On Verizon setup is a snap, but you NEED to have them provision a CDMA-Less profile. Or texts wont work properly. This is a snap for them. *It's questionable if Razer will continue it's phone division amid rumors of transfers/etc. it means there may not be a Razer phone 3, and OS updates may be somewhat limited. Probably only for the next year minimally. However Razer took a more hands off approach and there is no real bloatware. Very much stock Android, not a bad thing. If your in the market for a new phone, pick this bad boy up. Charges from 0-50% in about a half hour. Just keep in mind the charging coil is down in the 'butt' of the phone to help with heat generation management. You have to use their wireless charger, or managed a wireless charger in a different way. The wired charger works fine and is standard USB C connection. $400 is a great price for the tech, easily double that or more in the other phones. The phone does have 4k camera by default now, however people have said it washes out a bit. If a super high end camera on a phone isn't that big of a deal to you, pick this up. Otherwise the phones at double the price will take more vibrant photos, but the camera in the Razer isn't bad at all. It's also a little heavier of a phone, if you buy this phone order a case immediately. Due to the glass back (required for wireless charging) it's a bit slippery. I use my pinky out to hold the phone (till I got a case, which is easier to grip.). I'd buy this phone again in a instant. There's only a couple 120 hz phones on the market, and that double screen refresh rate really helps in everything you do.
