Hello! You do not need to purchase internet for your vehicle in order to make this device work. Please note that the WIFI that our dashcam possess is simply for downloading videos wirelessly from the dashcam to your phone. It does not have the capabilities of live tracking or anything that would require internet access. If you have any further questions, please contact us!
